Title: Human Trafficking
Artist: Manzoor Elahi
Media: Digital Mixed Media Poster
Size: 23inch X 36inch
Year: 2015
Concept: This award-winning mixed-media poster addresses human trafficking as a modern form of slavery. The Black Hand symbolizes traffickers who manipulate and control victims like puppets, while the white hand cuts away the letter “L” from “SLAVE,” transforming it into “SAVE.” This visual metaphor represents breaking the chains of exploitation and restoring freedom, dignity, and hope to survivors. The work calls for collective action to end human trafficking and protect human rights.
Award: First Prize, Anti-Trafficking Poster Exhibition (2015), organized by Relief International (USA) and the University of Dhaka.
