Concept: This experimental artwork reimagines a portrait of pioneer Bangladeshi artist Zainul Abedin using hand-rolled magazine paper tubes, transforming discarded printed materials into a unique visual medium. Developed through my own original media invention, this innovative technique is a unique approach to portrait-making. By merging sustainability with experimental design, the work pays tribute to Abedin’s enduring artistic legacy while exploring new possibilities in contemporary visual expression.
